When I planned my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, I was picturing beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was journey into history.

I have to admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were incredible. The PADI guides provided a detailed briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what we would see. The fact we were here in a small group instantly made me feel confident.

Going down was surreal. First, it's a shadow in the blue, then suddenly the structure came into view. It is massive. It's now a bustling artificial reef, covered in soft corals and swarming with fish. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the hull, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the superstructure. The feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel was indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It's a time capsule under the water.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for an adventure beyond the usual reef dive, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their expertise and for making this unforgettable experience so safe.
